Our programme is built entirely around what our members enjoy most — packed with fun, friendship and new experiences all year round. There's always something to look forward to.
From big seasonal celebrations to quiet afternoons in the kitchen — we cover a huge range of activities across the year.
We go all out for Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day and Easter. Think costumes, decorations, party food, music and dancing — every celebration is a big one.
Regular trips to parks, venues, restaurants and local attractions across Greater Manchester. We handle all the planning so members can focus entirely on enjoying themselves.
Our kitchen sessions build real confidence and practical life skills. Members plan menus, prepare food and share the results — always with plenty of fun along the way.
St Patrick's Day, Red Nose Day, Easter egg hunts — we love a theme and really lean into it every time. Dress-up, decorations, themed food and nonstop laughs guaranteed.
Pie-face, board games, arts and crafts, quizzes, music — plenty of friendly competition and creative expression. No experience needed, just a willingness to have a great time.
Sit-down dinners, summer barbecues and regular shared meals. Food brings people together in a very special way — and we make every meal feel like an occasion worth remembering.
Every day at The Place to Bee is designed to be enjoyable, structured and full of opportunity — while always feeling relaxed and welcoming.
Members arrive and settle in with a cuppa, a chat and a catch-up with friends and staff.
A structured session — cookery, crafts, games or a group activity chosen by members.
A proper sit-down lunch together, followed by free social time, music or relaxation.
An outing, themed activity, or second session — always something fun on the agenda.
A relaxed end to the day — members leave happy, energised and ready to come back.
Open to adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, autism or other needs. We adapt everything to suit individual abilities.
We work closely with families and carers to ensure everyone gets the most from their time with us.
Enthusiastic volunteers always welcome — no experience needed, just warmth, patience and a positive attitude.
Social workers, NHS teams and care professionals can refer directly — just get in touch to discuss a placement.
